I can see why it's your "old" parish. Seriously, what diocese is this in??!!

I especially like the comment that "everyone, male or female, can do it"
It looks pretty exclusively female to me.

Heh. This is in Syracuse, NY. It's actually the church that I grew up in. The music program went terribly awry under the most recent director, and liturgal dance was part of that.

Syracuse has a really problematic policy of only allowing priests to stay with a parish for 5 years at a time, which means that the identity of a parish can completely change every decade or more often.

Yeah, I think that is the biggest problem in a diocese. When you move a priest from a liberal to an orthodox parish and keep it going, the results can be devastating. We lived in Buffalo and the difference in parishes was staggering. Very conservative to very hippie. But we knew where to go and they didnt change. Thats the way it should be.
